Welcome Dave devotees
Come right in and make yourself at home. We're all friends here...well, fellow Dave fans at least - and what could be better than that? *grin*
If you've received an invite it's because I searched for users who had listed Dave Matthews and/or Dave Matthews Band as an interest...I figured some of you might be happy to meet other Dave fans!
Anyway, it's getting late here so I can't take too long but I'll quickly introduce myself:
I'm Michelle, a 30 year old Australian girl who discovered Dave Matthews Band in early 2001 (through a German ex boyfriend). Dave isn't that well known here in Australia so I'm really looking forward to talking "all things Dave" with some like-minded voxers.
I'll be seeing Dave live IN PERSON for the first later this year at the West Coast Blues and Roots festival (March 31 - April 1). I AM SOOO EXCITED. I CAN'T WAIT!

This is cool! I am fairly new to Vox, stumbled upon it because I was searching the web for something on DMB and it linked me to another vox-er.
I've been a fan for quite some time as well. I do live in the states, but I've only been to 7 shows. I will go to 10 this year!!!!!
ONLY 7 (almost 10) times? Oh wow am I jealous!!! hehe
As you may have noticed from my later post, DMB cancelled/delayed their Australian tour so I was pretty damn upset to miss out on seeing them here in Perth. I still have yet to see them live and as they were only playing a festival here in the first place they didn't come here when they rescheduled!
I WILL see Dave live, one day!
